Programmes for Members
The Reset! Staff Exchange Programme allows three members of the network to spend up to five days immersed in the working environment of another Reset! member each year. The programme aims to strengthen connections between members and build capacity through peer-to-peer learning.
During a maximum of five consecutive days, the ‘visitor’ participates in the ‘hosting organisation’s’ regular activities, with the aim of acquiring best practices and inspiration, and developing personal and professional relationships within the local context.
Each year, an open call is launched to gather applications from members. The Executive Committee assesses the applications. The top three applicants are selected and funded to take part in the programme.
2 Matchmaking Session
The Reset! Matchmaking Sessions are intended as meeting and discussion spaces where members can connect with each other, exchange ideas, and work on shared subjects and issues. One session is held every two months, focusing on a specific topic, sector, or geography.
Each session lasts about an hour and a half. First, members introduce their organisation to the other member participants, and then they break off into smaller groups for one-to-one conversations
3 Meet Reset!
Meet Reset! is a series of local and regional events organised by at least three geographically close members of the network. Three Meet Reset! events are funded by the network each year. Each event must include capacity-building, networking, and advocacy activities, both internal and public.
Every year, an open call is launched to gather applications from members. The Executive Committee assesses the applications. The top three event projects are then selected and funded.
4 Reset! Homes
Reset! Homes is a catalogue of workspaces available across Europe, offered by network members to other Reset! members.
Mobility across Europe within the independent cultural and media sectors is a constant reality. Therefore, our members take advantage of the network’s presence throughout the continent to offer other members a temporary spot in their offices or venues, enabling them to work, visit, meet each other, and spend time together.
5 Toolbox
As part of its Toolbox programme, Reset! offers its members online sessions and pedagogical content. The programme provides expert, customised support to strengthen members’ capacity for survival, action, and cooperation.
The Reset! Toolbox programme was designed using a bottom-up approach, with the members’ needs and challenges at its core.
The first Toolbox topics were chosen based on responses to a survey conducted among members in December 2022.
Currently, each thematic Working Group, comprising members and experts, suggests the topics for the yearly Toolbox programme.
6 Living Library
The Living Library gives Reset! members the opportunity to meet and connect with each other to discuss their professional practices. This interactive format is designed to encourage the sharing of skills, the exchange of knowledge, and the transfer of practical know-how.
Each member is therefore encouraged to contribute by sharing:
– a specific skill that they or their organisation can offer
– a specific challenge they have encountered through their project and how they navigated it
During the yearly in-person General Assembly gathering, every member is invited to book a slot with another member to learn from their skills or challenges.
